Ulrike Zöllner & Jana Barthel
Eternal Beauty and Truth

Opening Thursday, 15.03.2018 / 7-10pm
Exhibition 15.03. - 29.03.2018 Sa + Su / 2-6pm

Jana Barthel and Ulrike Zöllner are showing 9 men with cars and 15 billion couloured-lines. This is so far the result they want to present from their journey as artists. Surrounded by everyday kitsch online and offline, the artists are looking for submersion in their studios. Left in solitude in front of the canvas or the lump of clay they are trying to create something unique, beautiful and true.

Jana Barthel is a conceptual artist and stage designer who observes and arranges space and the bodies within in order to analyse their habits and inconsistency. She produces text, context, drawings, models and prototypes that turn into compositions for playground, theatre performance, exhibition, temporary architecture, a concert or everyday life. Most of the times they are the result of cooperations. Her work was shown in Sophiensaele Berlin, Theater Chemnitz, Schaubude Berlin, Goetheinstitut Seoul (KR), Figura Festival Baden (CH),Theater Junge Generation Dresden, Westgermany Berlin and she stayed as Artist-in-Residence at Nida Art Colony (LT).

Ulrike Zöllner is an artist from Berlin.
